LIP HUG COLLECTION.

I can't believe it has taken me so long to write this post!!
A few months back I entered  a competition to win the complete collection of MakeUp Revolution's new LipHug collection. and Oh My!! They are beautiful. As a huge lipstick lover at the moment, it's been so much fun to play with each of the colours, especially one that I wouldn't have chosen for myself. The collection ranges from nudes, to bright pinks and oranges to deep reds to rich raspberry colours.

The lipsticks come in a simple, sleek, glossy packaging with make up revolution imprinted in gold text on the outside. Each lipstick has a shade colour coding on the bottom with each shades name, so handy!!
These lipsticks are so moisturising, they are perfect to use during these colder months to keep your lips hydrated.

With the price of each lipstick coming in at £2.50 you can't expect an amazing staying power, however it is worth mentioning that they last a good 5-6 hours, the darker shades such as 'To Get Lucky', 'I Am Ready', and 'Still Missing My Baby' last the longest, the lighter nude colours such as 'Not giving Up', 'Good Fun', and 'When You Came To Me' didn't last as long. I can't fault the formula of the lipsticks, they are so moisturising, they help make your lips look fuller and are long lasting, all of that for £2.50 - what a bargain.

End With Beginnings, Present Has No Living, She's Up All Night, Want To Leave?, Good Fun

Still Missing My Baby, Keeps The Planet Spinning, To Get Lucky, We Have Come Too Far.

Save Me From Yourself, I Think You're Amazing, Love Can Set You Free, When You Came To Me, Not Giving Up

Who we are!, I Am Ready!, I Wasn't Mixed Up, Let's Raise The Bar, Insatiable

If you are looking to try out new colours, I would 100% recommend buying these lipsticks, for the price and quality, you literally can't go wrong.
You can buy the whole collection from the Make Up Revolution site here, or at your local Superdrug store - they have just started to stock their collection in mine, yaay!
If you hurry over to the Make Up Revolution site now, they are running a deal on the #LipHug lipsticks where you can save £5 if you buy one of the four collections :)

DailyLook.com LBD SPRING STYLE CHALLENGE.

I was recently inspired by DailyLook.com to take part in their LBD Spring Style Challenge, so I thought that I could share it all with you.

So what's the inspiration behind my look?

I absolutely love the festival style, the fact that you can mix and match different style to create new looks really appeals to me. People's styles really do shine through at festivals. I opted for a black fringed dress, as it gives a new twist on the simple LBD.
I decided to pair it with some snake skin printed ankle boots, as you can never rely on the UK weather to stay dry. A studded sleeveless leather jacket to add layers for taking the chill off for when the sun sets, and some simple silver jewellery to match the booties. Every girl needs a bag at festival, so this small leather box bag is perfect to fit in your make-up to top up through the day, and keep that camera safe for when you are making memories but not catching them!

Hope you liked my Festival inspired Spring Style Challenge. You can see links to all the of the items I've picked here

MILANO DUOMO.

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you would have seen that I’ve recently been to Milan. Craig and I went over to stay with a friend of ours, Kevin, for a few days and he took us out to explore different areas of Milan. I literally fell in love with Italy, and am so desperate to go back.
I’m planning on doing some more blog post about things I got up to in Milan, as I took hundreds of photos. The weather was so stunning whilst we were there, so one afternoon we climbed up the hundreds of steps to the top of the breathtakingly beautiful Duomo. And wow, it was totally worth it! The views were amazing, and the building is so beautiful, I will definitely be doing another post of pictures I took of the Duomo.

This outfit was definitely a firm favourite of mine whilst in Milan. Incase you couldn’t tell by my previous posts I have absolutely been loving H&M recently, and this jacket was on my recent wishlist post (here) its the perfect jacket to take you from Spring into Summer. Im still loving Khaki at the moment so this jacket is spot on for me. I've wanted a suede button up skirt for a while now, but they are literally sold out everywhere, so I settled with this cord style skirt from New Look; it's so comfortable and versatile. I’ve paired it with my new Chelsea boots, and an old basics Zara bag.

Top - New Look (sold out, similar here)
Boots - Matalan (sold out, similar here)
Bag - Zara (old)

Can't wait to share some more of my snaps of Milan, and give you some ideas of places to see and do whilst you are there.

THAT JUMPER.

So this outfit is a bit of a mix mash of new and old. I spotted this jumper in h&m a while ago and have been absolutely loving it. It's so comfortable and you can dress it up like this but also just wear it for chilling around the house, so was thinking of maybe doing a 2-part how to for this jumper.

I brought these biker trousers in the January sales (which feels like years ago now) from Zara so unfortunately they don't stock them anymore but I'll list some alternatives below. I love them, just wish they were high waisted but for £10 I couldn't complain nor walk away.

Trousers - Zara (similar here)
Bag - Zara Mini City Bag last season (new season here and here)
Shoes - Matalan (similar with studs here)

Excuse the state of my hair recently, I've been really trying not to dye it, so I have serious roots at the moment!! Needed to give it a good old rest from the bleach.
And if you follow me on instagram you would have seen that I've been away for a while, so I took a mini blogging break, but I'm back and hopefully will get back into the swing of things soon

Until Next Time
love and kisses
