ZARA LOVIN'.

Where to start with this outfit? There is just nothing that I do not love.
This is a serious Zara loving blogpost, the jeans, coat and bag are all little pieces of heaven from Zara.

First off though, let me bring your attention to my gorgeous jewellery, the stacking rings are from Pandora, I live in them, so they will have popped up all over the blog. However this gorgeous Satellite Crescent Necklace is from BohoMoon, I decided upon blue out of the 5 colour choices but they are all gorgeous. I managed to nab it in the sale alongside the rings but they still on the site - luckily for you, grab them while you can, they are gorgeous. The Harmoney Amulet ring (worn on my thumb) and the Translunar Moonstone are both still up for grabs too, I honestly cant take my eyes off them, I think i've fallen in love.

The Mac I also nabbed in the sale for over 50% off reduced to £30, unfortunately it isn't available online anymore, but when I popped into my local Zara the other day there were loads left, but I'll link a few alternatives below. How amazing is my bag? Another Zara sale purchase, honestly their sale just keeps on giving.

Shoes are Matalan bargains, £10. How could I leave the shop without them?!

Coat - Zara (sale) (similar here)
Jumper - Primark
Jeans - Zara (similar here)
Shoes - Matalan (sale) (similar here and here)

What fab items did you pick up from the Zara sale? Possibly my favourite sale EVER.

Until next time,

love and kisses

CLAUDIA STEVENS CONDITIONING PLUMPING BALM REVIEW.

A product that promises fuller, smoother looking lips, with a tiny price tag, how could I resist?

I have been dying to try a some plumping lips balms for a while now, as I feel like I have the smallest lips in the universe (especially my top lip). So when I stumbled across the Claudia Stevens Conditioning Plumping Balm on Fragrance Direct for a tiny £2.49 I had to give it ago. The product claims to give lips a fuller and softer look and helps to enhance your own lip colour.

I've been using this product at least 3 times a day for a month or so and was hoping for brilliant results so to be honest with you I was slightly disappointed with the results that I got.

So lets start with the packaging. What a huge box for such a little product, honestly you could probably fit about 8 of the lip balms inside one of the boxes. Its a serious waste of space, so the box went straight into the bin. On to the product itself, when applying to the lips the product felt quite thick, but not that sticky, so went onto the lip with ease. The balm gave my lips a nice pinky glossy look but did not last very long at all. On top of this, I saw absolutely no increase in my lips, they definitely did not look fuller, which I was pretty upset about. The balm did help the condition of my lips especially since my lips have been very cracked recently, so I cannot fault the balm if you are looking for a balm to help the condition.

This product isn't for me, as I wanted my lips to look fuller, so the quest will continue, but if you were looking for a lip balm to help with your lip condition then you could definitely give this product a try, however there is lots of other products on the market that would help just as much with an even smaller price tag.

If you head over to Fragrance Direct now, you can use the code BEAUTY to get free delivery when spending over £20. They have hundreds of beauty products: perfumes, make up, bath sets and gift sets.

Have you tried any Claudia Stevens products? Or do you have any lip plumping balms that you would recommend?

love and kisses

FAUX FUR AND RIPPED JEANS.

Can't believe I'm on my 50th blogpost already! Wow, I love my little blog, my space to share my thoughts, opinions and whatever I like, I am thinking of expanding my blog slightly to include things I've done, so more days out and general day to day life fun.

However this is just a quick post again today, had mega busy day at work and heading out this evening, with loads to try and fit in between. A casual look up on the blog today, don’t feel like I have done a casual post in a while so it is about time. This outfit is another January sales bargain, and I’ve been wearing lots variations of this outfit already.
So the shoes are a pair that I’ve had for a while now, from good old primark, and I still love them, they have taken me from the summer into the winter and still are yet to be thrown in the back of the shoe cupboard. I styled them up previously on the blog here.
The jeans were another bargain buy in the Zara sale, unfortunately they have sold out now, but ill link some similar ones below. Next up is my beaut faur fur gilet from River Island. I absolutely love the mix of colours – mega cute! And finally is my new liitle bag from the Next sale - £10. What a steal. I think again this one might be sold out but again ill try and find some similar ones for you.

Gilet - River Island (sale) (similar here and here)

YOUNIQUE 3D FIBER MASCARA REVIEW.

Hey guys and dolls,

Hope you are all well, I'm trying to be more organised with blogging so here is my second post of the year, my first beauty post of 2015!

What is that ONE piece of make up that you literally can not leave the house without wearing? Some say foundation, many say lipstick but mine has always been mascara! Even if I’m just running down to the shop, I have to apply a dashing of mascara.

So today on My Dangerous Obsession is a review of the Younique Moonstruck 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara, if you haven’t heard of this mascara where have you been?! It’s been floating around on the bloggersphere/ blogosphere (I never know which of these is right) for a while now, and I finally got my hands on it.
I have read a lot of reviews on this product, and the over-riding feeling Is that it is like marmite, you either love it or hate it. So I honestly could not wait to get my hands on it and form my own opinion!

I have been using this product a few times a week now for the past two months, but decided to review it on here with minimal make up on to show you, what I think are the truest results.

How did I apply the mascara?!

Firstly you need to apply a THIN coat of your favourite mascara (this is optional but I found that it worked well me for me), you then apply the transplanting gel (basically used as glue), immediately followed by the fibers (focusing mainly on the ends of your lashes – not the base as this can cause the fibers to fall into your eye which is extremely irritating). The fibers are like micro black hairs that stick to the gel creating a micro temporary extension to your own lashes. Once you have applied the fibers, allow the lashes to dry for a about 30 seconds and then comb through your lashes to help separate them and fan them out – this makes a huge difference and helps to brush out any clumps that may appear. You then need to seal the fibers by applying another coat of the transplanting gel. You can add as many coats of the gel and fibers as  you like, however I found the more coats I added, the more clumpy the lashes looked.

One coat of normal mascara

One coat of Younique 3D fiber.

I absolutely love this mascara, and can’t imagine living without it now. The mascara really does give your natural lashes that extra boost to become beautifully longer, thicker and more volumised. I love that you are able to apply more coats of the gel and fibers to reach your desired look.

Please do not let the price of the mascara put you off this product. At first, I was not prepared to pay £23 for mascara that I didn’t know would definitely work, but honestly girls, this mascara is completely worth the price.

I've been in contact with Kate Graydon, a Younique Presenter, she is absoultely lovely, and will be able to help you with any orders or questions not just about this product but any of the Younique range. Contact her on either  Facebook, or on her Younique site.

love and kisses

OOTN: NEW YEARS EVE.

First of all, I wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you that follow my blog, as well as my Instagram, I reached 1k on Instagram this week, yaay! So again thank you all.

How long ago does christmas feel now? Reality has finally set back in, back to those long working days and dark early mornings! So I thought I'd add a bit of sparkle and glitter to my blog post today. This is the outfit that I wore for NYE to my friends gorgeous new house.
I went out bargain hunting the other day to pick up the majority of this outfit as well as a lot more, it was completely unplanned but the bargains just all joined together nicely to create this look.

I am absolutely obsessed with these glittery heels, they are still in the Matalan sale at the moment for £12, I've paired them with so many outfits recently. I love that they are block heels rather than stilettos - so much easier to walk in - they also come in navy as well as the black. The faux leather joggers are such a gem from the Zara sale and again they are still in stock online. I worn them out with both heels and flats and both ways they looked gorgeous. Finally this lush blue/black tonal faux fur cape from the Next sale. This was one of those pieces that I picked up, walked around the shop holding onto but not sure whether I actually wanted it, I am so indecisive!

Shirt - New Look (old)
Necklace - Matalan (similar here)

Hope you all had an amazing christmas and a lovely new year!

love and kisses
