TO THE MOON AND BACK.

I think I've fallen in love with this absolutely lush dress! I usually stay away from dresses this length as I think it makes my legs look stumpy but how could I walk away from this one, and with a tiny price tag of £12.99 – it was an offer that I could not refuse. I absolutely love the spaghetti straps and detailing at the front, I think it completely makes the dress. I have previously worn this dress for a family meal, so added a black vest top underneath to hide how low cut it is, so it really is versatile.
Today I decided to add my lush fedora which was also an absolutely bargain - £3 – yes you read that right three tiny pounds in the new look sale, which matches my vintage clutch perfectly . I’ve used this clutch before on my blog here.

Oh my, also check out my cute moon choker, which the lovely ladies from Adorned sent to me! How flipping cute is it?! Check out my other post that featured them here to see some of their other amazing pieces which included my customised upcycled elephant pendant - you are seriously missing out if you don't take a look at their amazing range!!

MONOCHROME AZTEC

I brought this amazing coat at the end of August from the Matalan sale, to say I couldn’t stop beaming would be an understatement. I wanted this coat when it first came out during Summer, but I definitely didn’t need a new coat in all that gorgeous sunshine we had. So luckily for me when I went back at the end of summer it was in the sale for a measly £15 – what a bargain!

Im absolutely loving monochrome at the moment, in fact I’ve pretty much been living it in. I teamed the duster coat with my old canvas white boots from new look, I featured them in a shoe haul I did when I started my blog (see here), my trusted black skinnies and this white and black top from River Island.

I am also becoming slightly ring obsessed at the moment, if you follow me on instagram you will constantly see different ring combinations. This mini city bag is also an old favourite of mine from Zara. I brought it on eBay after it sold out in the Zara near me and managed to save £15 on it, you can call me bargain hunter!

TINT 'N' PERM.

Firstly, before anything I have to apoligise for the poor quality photos, they were taken on a phone, and by the time I zoomed in and increased the size obviously the quality worsen. But hey ho, you win some you lose some!

As some of you may know, I am absolutely eyelash obsessed, single eyelash extensions, clustered lash extension, and self-adhesive extension, I feel like I have tried them all. My favourites were the single eyelash extension, but to be honest as much as I loved them, being a student at the time I could not afford to fulfill both my shoe fetish and my eyelash addiction, and unsurprisingly shoes won!

So I decided to make it my mission to find something affordable, that would make my life easier of a morning without having to spend what feels like hours applying mascara! I stumbled across Berkshire Beauty Treatments on Instagram and saw that they offered an eyelash perm and tint. I had seen the eye lash perm treatment offered before, but for around £45-50, and to be honest I just could not justify it. However at Berkshire beauty treatment is was a steal at £25, and additional £6 for the tint, too good an offer to miss!

Here are the results:

The top two pictures are before, and the bottom two after - what a difference!!
I would 100% recommend anybody to give it a try, especially if you live around the Reading area, get in contact with Andrea Jones. Not only does she offer eye treatments, she also does waxing, manicures, pedicures, body wraps and other packages. You can contact her on either her Instagram page or Website . The eye lash perm and tint results can last for up to 8 weeks, so Ill let you know how I get on. I am off on my jollies this month, so I'm mega pleased I got this done in time, no more waterproof mascara, yaaaay!!

Have you ever had this treatment done? How did you get on with it?

SUMMER BLUES

I have lived in jumpsuits through the summer (see here, and here for my last jumpsuit posts) and this one has been perfect for both day and night - so versatile! I thought I’d style it for a casual day out. The jumpsuit was from F&F at Tesco’s and came in at £20 – what a steal!! I’ve teamed it with my absolutely stunning kimono from select, I think I have more kimonos in my wardrobe than anything else now, I just can’t get enough of them! These trusty sandals are from New Look last summer, they have seemed to last forever, I will be gutted when they eventually die on me, as they have been one of my staple sandals this summer.
I finally paired it with my primark rucksack. This rucksack has been a life saver for helping me transport my camera around. I really need to invest in a lush new camera bag - Please give me a shout if there are any good ones that you can recommend!!

Can any bloggers help me? How do I format all my pictures to be the same size on my blog?

FAMILY GETAWAY.

Again, I apologise for the lack of blogging lately, I really need to learn to organise my time better – how do you all find enough time in the day?! Help a girl out!

So, this blogpost is going to be slightly different as I wanted to share some of my photos and a few experiences I have had recently with you.

I brought myself my Nikon D3100 for my birthday last June and ever since, I must confess that I’ve put the camera on Auto and shot, so I though it about time I learnt the very basics at least. So a friend and I went on a photography course at The Henley Photo School to learn how to use at least some of the buttons (I honestly had no idea where to start). I came away with a very very basic understanding of some of the things my camera could do, THERE IS SO MUCH!! The main thing that was drummed into us was: ‘Practice Practice Practice’ and ‘Never shoot in Auto’ (Oops!!).

I’ve been ridiculously busy recently, so the whole practice thing was sort of pushed aside. But with the family holiday coming up, it was a perfect time to get the camera back out. So all 17 adults and 3 little bubbas, packed up all 7 cars and hit the road to the beautiful Longleat forest. We stayed in different styled lodges and accommodation (see here for the different options) around the Center Parcs Village, with a far walk in between. We were fairly unlucky with the weather. After all that beautiful sunshine we have had, we got stuck with drizzle and cloud, with sometimes made it impossible to get my camera out!

But I did use my camera as much as I could in between the badminton, swimming and canoeing,  but my brain is like a sieve, and I forgot most of what I’d learnt (typical me) so I did my best and some pictures turned out a lot better than others, but hey ho, I thought I’d show you them and then every now and again Ill blog some more and hopefully you’ll be able to see an improvement (fingers crossed!!)

Also, how cute is my little model Maxwell? I'm slightly biased as he is my little cousin but I think he is totally gorgeous. If you follow me on Instagram (see here), you'll have seen lots of pictures of him and my little nephew Harvey - both as cute as a button!!

Any photographers out there that could give me any feedback etc would be brilliant?
