WATERCOLOUR.

Anyone who knows me, will know that I am obsessed with sale shopping and tend to go totally overboard. Well this gorgeous dress was a result of some serious internet sale shopping, and to be completely honest it’s 100 times nicer in real life. The water colours are gorgeous and give the dress such a lush subtle hints of colour, and luckily for me they match perfectly to my bargain sandals.
I managed to nab these sandals from Tescos, yes you read that correctly, from Tescos! They also sell them in black, I’m definitely going to be heading back to see if I can grab them - they are ridiculously comfortable, I pretty much live in them at the moment.
My headpiece is from River Island but its a couple of years old now, but there are loads of similar ones floating about on eBay, I think its a lush way to help style up your hair for when you are having a bad hair day (my hair wasn't playing nice).

Dress - Zara
Sandals - Tesco
Headpiece - River Island (old)
Rings - La Moda, Primark, Zara
Bracelet - A market in Spain

I sadly have no festivals planned for this summer at the moment - however hoping I can grab some tickets for a festival before the season is over. I would definitely be pairing this dress with my hunter wellies for a perfect festival outfit.

Also how lush is this nail varnish?! It's Barry M, Blueberry! I'm a huge fan of shellac but I'm giving my nails a bit of a break, saw this nail varnish and it was pretty much love at first sight.

SUMMERS WEDDING.

My beautiful cousin, Jay, got married at the end of June, she looked undeniably
sensational - the venue and grounds were stunning, and the weather held out and was absolutely beautiful even into the evening. I was terrible, typical me, and left planning my outfit until the last minute, so unprepared. However I visited  the Zara sale and stumbled across this pale blue dress as well as two other wedding outfit options. I finally settled for this dress as I fell in love with the low back and pleated skirt, I also managed to snap up these cute little flatform shoes for a cheeky little £9.99. About three weeks before I had treated myself to the same pair but in black. They are ridiculously comfortable and ideal for a wedding reception as they allowed me to dance until the early hours with any pain. The day of the wedding as I rushed around town like a crazy women, I managed to nab myself this totally cute, petite pastel Primark bag, and my white New Look blazer.
My necklace was a gift from couple of years back, with my birthstone in. I still love it, and tend to wear it for more special occasions, I think it adds a timeless style to an outfit.

Dress & Shoes - Zara
Blazer - New Look

Please tell me I'm not the only girl who leaves outfit planning for special occasions to the last minute? How cute is this primark bag!

Ps. what do you think of my beauty posts? I'm thinking of doing so more, and would love some feedback.

FROM DAY TO NIGHT - KIMONO.

I've had this blog post floating around for a while now, since I brought this kimono I have lived in it, it's so versatile and the colours are lush, you literally can wear it with anything. So I thought what better way to show it off then to style it for both day and night. I wore this outfit for my birthday garden party with my family, and I received such lovely comment. However me, white jeans and food never end well - next time I might have to wear black jeans!

For the day time, I have paired my new look kimono with a River Island black and white top, white Primark jeans, Next platform sandals, Matalan layered necklace, and my gorgeous LaModa bag. Oh, and my stunning Olivia Burton watch - I rarely leave the house without it - it is a perfect match to this kimono.

This evening outfit I wore for my friend's birthday for a night out in my hometown of Reading. I've teamed the kimono with my H&M top, New Look skort, Select heels, and trusty Primark clutch. Words literally cannot explain how comfy these shoes were for a night out of drinking and dancing. The less said about the amount of alcohol consumed the better, however my shoes did not let me down and kept me on my feet all night. Again I received lovely compliments all evening about my kimono - which makes me love it a little bit more than I already did (If that was even possible).

Do you have these shoes? How comfortable did you find them?

TRIBAL JUMPSUIT & A NEW FAMILY ADDITION

So if you have been following me on instagram ( www.instagram.com/mydangerousobsession )  you would have seen this jumpsuit a week or so ago, I had such a nice response to it, and lovely comments when I wore it out, I thought it would be nice to share it with you.
I brought the lush jumpsuit from Matalan for my holidays - but as I'm not going away until September I thought it would be better to share it with you before as so many people are off on their jollies now, jealous!!
I love the colours and patterns of this jumpsuit and its such a thin material that it really does keep you nice and cool - so is perfect for both day and evenings on holiday or at home.
I've paired it with my trusty primark sandals, primark tribal statement necklace and H&M bag.

Jumpsuit - Matalan
Necklace & Sandals - Primark
Bag - H&M

Also, If you have been checking my instagram out  you'll have seen that I've just become an aunty for the first time. So I apologise for the lack of blogposts however I have been slightly pre-occupied by the new addition to the family - Harvey!

How absolutely gorgeous is he? I'm totally in love!
Also how do you like the jumpsuit? Its so comfy - go grab yourselves one!

KIKO FULL COVERAGE.

I’ve had this little gem for a while now, and keep meaning to post it but I always seem to get side tracked browsing blogs for hours, before I know it, I’ve shut down the laptop and completely forgotten to post. So here we go…

I was lucky enough to visit Milan this Easter, it is amazing! If you have never been – GO! If you have been, like me you’ll want to go again.  Whilst there I stumbled across the make up store KIKO, having never heard of it before I had to have a nose around, I instantly fell in love. I managed to bag myself some of their ‘Full Coverage Concealer’ and thought I’d give it a review for you lovely lot.

With the small price tag of £7.50, I wasn’t sure that the duration of the product would be great but I was pleasantly surprised, the concealer lasts around 7-8 hours, which for my oily skin is much better than other concealer in this price range that I’ve tried. The concealer doesn’t dry as soon as it is applied to your face so it is ease to apply and blend with your fingers before applying your foundation and/or powder on top. The concealer is contained in a mini-case with a mirror and is the perfect size to be carrying around in your bag.

Here is just a couple of shots I took whilst mooching around the gorgeous city.

Do you own any KIKO products?  Have you tried this concealer – what’s your opinion?
I have some more KIKO reviews up my sleeve for future blog posts.

MOM.

I’ve been trying to get my hands on a pair of mom jeans for ages – I wasn’t sure if I could completely pull them off, so I made myself the task of searching for a bargain pair, and surprise surprise can you guess where I ended up? Yup, you got it in one Primark. Like I’ve said before in Primark I always struggle on what size jeans to buy as they always seem to come up in different sizes, so I had to go up two sizes to get the perfect fit in this style- but at £13 who cares if you have to go up a few dress sizes hey!

Jeans, Bag, Sunglasses, Necklace - Primark
Top - Topshop
Pool Sliders - H&M
Belt - Matalan
Watch - Tu for Sainsburys

For me the mom jeans are just super ideal, I think they look fab paired with my H&M pool sliders in the summer but also would look equally as good with a pair of trainers for when it slightly cooler, or dressed up with simple black heeled sandals and a light cami top for more of an evening outfit.

What do you think on the lipstick, I blogged about it last week (http://mydangerousobsession.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/good-to-be-bad.html) and I definitely still love it, what other shades are you loving at the moment?

How have you styled yours? Does anyone else have a problem with jean sizes in Primark?
